Hellcat on 2x12, "A forest" tribute to The Cure

Here's a clip from a recent gig filmed by a professional crew. We are a dedicated Cure tribute band, actually the only one in Greece, called "The Accureacy".

Hellcat on 2x12 Oxblood red cabin, great sound!

Re: Need advice on Hellcat without Hellcat Logo on Front-

Hmmm, I own both a Hellcat & an MK50H (I) and they are different. Both are GREAT amps but differ in terms of tone and grit. I cannot explain their tonal differences because my technical terminology and knowledge sucks but I love them both. The Hellcat has some very good clean sounds, the reverb and ...

Re: Hellcat switch with soundsculpture switchblade

Switchblade? I have the pedal that comes with the Hellcat Head. I can't see if it has any coding on it because I'm not at home right now.

Re: Hellcat switch with soundsculpture switchblade

If I understand your question correctly you need a "balanced" cable to connect the channel/reverb switching pedal to the head.

When I tried connecting the Hellcat H to its pedal with an "ordinary" cable it would only switch channels but not the reverb.

Hellcat live (clip by The Accureacy, Cure tribute band)

So, here's one clip from our recent gig. I was really happy to play the Hellcat, now I'm looking forward to gigging the MK too!

Re: Roadhouse 30?

Oh don't worry, my hearing's perfectly ok (for the time being)! I just like running the amp at a decent volume so as to get sound with (allow me the expression) a "nice round body", besides I enjoy being loud when playing my guitar. Indeed, the Hellcat can get really loud but when p...

Re: My setup!

Not only does it look great but it sounds GREAT too! It's the best amp I've owned (together with the Hellcat). Totally noise-free, and sound clarity & definition is spectacular. I've read critiques that it doesn't have a really clean sound but I refuse to admit it. I got some fantastic clean sounds ...

Re: Roadhouse 30?

It never gets going in most places? Wow, mine gets going in my living room to say the least. Are you talking about the over-drive channel or the clean one? In the clean channel I have the master volume at 13.00 o' clock and the vintage switch to 00.00. In the over-drive I use a bit less volume than ...
