Re: good valves??

they used to use Sovteks as I recall, however mine came fitted with JJ 6L6 power tubes and no-name Chinese 12AX7s in the preamp, which I switched for JJs.
Personally I find JJs are a pretty good all-round tube but there are many different opinions...

Re: How many pins does the mk50II footswitch need?

Hi Aron I don't remember the exact cable, I just bought some 6-core cable from an electronics shop. You could easily make this just as a cable. You would need to use quite thin wire because the 4 ground wires would have to be twisted together and soldered to the centre pin on the DIN connector. Exam...

Re: How many pins does the mk50II footswitch need?

Hi Aron I have had 2 MK50ii amps, a 2006 and a 2010 and both used a 6-pin DIN connector. I bought the correct 6-pin DIN connector from Canford Audio: http://www.canford.co.uk/Products/43-324_DELTRON-610-DIN-PLUG-6-pin-nickel and made an adaptor box myself, see this diagram: http://i466.photobucket.c...

Re: Cornford MK50 black face value ??

Loads of people on here swear by them and it should all fit in that new convertible  Cool idea Rich but the thing is I never get it loud enough to get the full benefit, you what it's like in the pubs around here :( Only...

Re: My current rig

That looks like a great rig Rich, but all that technology would scare me shitless! I'll bet that is real versatile though. It's not as scary as you might think, although I haven't used some of the advanced stuff e.g. MIDI or expression pedals controlling effects parameters. It does ...

Re: My current rig

Hi there! cold you please give some details? how set g-system to make it control mk50-II ? I made an adaptor box, with 2 stereo jack sockets connected to a cable with a 6-pin DIN plug for the MK50ii. You can then use the 'relay' settings on the G system to switch the MK50ii. For each patch on the G...
