Re: new MK50II owner. now about the tubes.....

First off, the MK50II loves JJs right the way through. This might sound silly, but try it: if it's too bright, stick a non true bypass wah up front. It'll roll of the top end really nicely.

Re: Continued stock??

All that's happening is Andertons are driving the price down for Cornfords. Makes me wonder what price point they will use for the Victory amps...?

Re: END of the CORNFORD Line - BREAKING NEWS!

If we could hear about the intended or planned future for Cornford a lot of the questions from customers on products would fade away as the important part is the going concern of the Conford company.

Re: END of the CORNFORD Line - BREAKING NEWS!

…So anyone who bought a Cornford amp between April 2012 and April 2013 wasn't buying a legit Cornford product. :wtf: Explain to me how Cornford amplifiers built between 2012 and 2013 is not "legit"? Imagine how Marshall owners will react when they find-out that their non-Jim Marshall built amplifie...

Re: END of the CORNFORD Line - BREAKING NEWS!

I'm guessing a bit here (okay a lot!) the issue of amp production and sales might be that the orders for new Cornford amps went directly to SE and ceased to go through the Cornford company itself (eg. Paul Cornford). May be this was beyond the original contractual agreement. May be the original con...

Re: END of the CORNFORD Line - BREAKING NEWS!

As moderator, I have been contacted by SE in order to hopefully clear up and answer some of the questions posed and pass on the following: "Thanks for your help and input on this Gadget. We are a simple manufacturer who only wants to build good quality products and get paid for it. We do not wish t...

Re: END of the CORNFORD Line - BREAKING NEWS!

SE wades in and the thread dies a death.

I realise we're all waiting on the "what happens next?" scenario but amazed a thread this busy and alive has suddenly seen no action in three days.

Re: END of the CORNFORD Line - BREAKING NEWS!

I don't think we've learnt any new in this thread even since Paul and Mum Cornford joined the thread. Most of what we know is either being pieces together by events or snippets that come out. Hopefully it will all be cleared up soon. It's great to have Paul's presence on the board again and I'm look...

Re: END of the CORNFORD Line - BREAKING NEWS!

Ian Wilson from Straight Edge registered Cornford as a trade mark in November 2008, just before the fire.... I did not know about this until an employees of mines girl friend found it on the net.... Why?????????? cannot answer that one for you... I'm surprised you didn't have the Cornford name trad...
