Dialling in the MK50H II

I saw a u toob of Ainsley Lister playing through a black face MK50. He was getting that mid range bark like Guthrie. I just cannot get close to those tones. Even setting the Mid at max, with Bass and Treble noon-ish, back off the gain .... Nope. I've got stock JJ 6L6, was thinking of dropping in Har...

Re: Why ?

My guess is it's all tied up in legals, which is why it's not ended, but there's no movement. Re: Why ?

In no way am I whinging about my MK50HII or the 2x12 cab. I love these and will not part with them. Re: Why ?

Surely I'm not the only one to have seen the Cornford home page?

Wally hasn't posted since June and the announcement is clear.

Commercial reality and plain speaking finally out there after what was painfully obvious.

A big shame.

cheers,

Matt.

Re: Should I buy a Cornford MKII?

Answer in short is ...... YES!!!

Easily the most responsive tone-a-lishous amp I've ever owned.

If I were able to take an amp to the next life, it'd be the Cornford.

Truly.

Cheers,

Matt.
