Best two amps I've ever had. Choose your favourite, first or second. Go!

Order will be revealed later...

I don't have any hands on experience with the HotRod but if it's similar to an SLO I'd say no1 is the Cornford and no2 is the Soldano. Cornfords seem to have a little more low-mids out of the box and Soldano's a little more high-end bite and that's what I hear in this clip.

Very nicely played and recorded by the way !

I'm with Giga....1st sounds like more like my old MK50...a little thicker....bound to be wrong though!

Great playing as always DB.

OK, voting seems to have slowed now, so here's the score:

Cornford was first, Soldano second. If I add up all the votes from everywhere, it's a tie!

Thanks for all the kind words btw :)

Late to the party but even with thhe resulta givwn, it was very obvious that the first one was the cornford. Much more meat in the low mids and defined bottom end. vh is not my kind of music or tone im going for really, but nice playing really. I cannot play with that much gain and get anything but just mud noise nd fizz regardles of amp.
